Capitol Park Rakovica marks second anniversary with openings of seven new stores

28. October, 2019 – On Friday 1 November the largest retail park in Belgrade, Capitol Park Rakovica, will celebrate its second anniversary and the arrival of new brands. All visitors will enjoy special anniversary discounts from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm as well as a diverse entertainment programme. Through October and November, new stores will include Home Plus with its Mini Home concept, Dexy Co Kids in larger 820 sqm premises, Panter fashion, Vulkan bookstore, Vip Mobile, Telenor and Woby Haus. Entertainments start at 4.00 pm with activities for both young and old, such as children’s mascots, clowns, magicians and a 9D virtual reality capsule. From 8.00 pm shoppers will enjoy a concert by Zeljko Vasic.

Capitol Park opened in Rakovica in October 2017, when more than 30 new stores welcomed shoppers from the neighbourhood and surrounding municipalities. A year later in 2018, the retail park extended to 22,000 sqm and more than 700 parking places. With this year’s Phase III opening, Capitol Park Rakovica will reach up to 24,000 sqm with 45 brands in the scheme.

Capitol Park Rakovica has nurtured a relaxed family-friendly shopping atmosphere that allows children to play and avoid the crowds. A comfortable shopping experience is one of many reasons that Capitol Park has fast become a new centre for family shopping in the southern suburbs of Belgrade.
