Recent new openings in the Capitol Park retail and shopping centre portfolio in Croatia and Serbia show that these schemes are the first choice for new brands to enter the regional market.

In November 2017 Capitol Park Rakovica welcomed DeFacto, a well-known Turkish fashion brand, into its Belgrade scheme.  DeFacto’s 1,300 sqm store is the first to open in Serbia, marking the company’s entry in SE Europe, with plans for further expansion in other cities through 2018. Poseidon Group corporate affairs director James Gunn said:  “New market entrants like DeFacto are placing their confidence in Capitol Park to provide a platform for their regional expansion.  We look forward to welcoming more new retailers in Serbia in 2018.”

German home supplies brand TEDi opened its third store in Croatia in Vinkovci Shopping Capitol also in November.  Its 500 sqm location offers a wide range of items from cosmetics to party products.

Poseidon Group invests in, develops, rents and manages over 80,000 sqm of Capitol Park retail space and plans further expansion elsewhere in SE Europe in the following year. For instance, the Serbian market will have two more Capitol Park projects delivered and opened by the end of 2018.
